Celebrate 20 Years at Goodman Stadium
Posted: August 7, 2007
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh University’s Murray H. Goodman Stadium, the home of Lehigh football, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2007. There have been a lot of great moments since the venue opened in 1988 – including a share of eight Patriot League football titles, a pair of NCAA playoff games, and many memorable contests.
The 2007 football season will mark a year-long celebration at the picturesque venue. Lehigh Athletics is looking to compile the Top 20 Games at Goodman Stadium, and we need your help! Please send us your favorites, and then watch Lehigh football on television all season long and check out the Lehigh Sports Magazine each Monday night throughout the season to see which games Lehigh fans remember most.
Was it the thriller vs. Holy Cross in 1991? Or maybe your favorite was the fourth-quarter comeback vs. Harvard in 2002? And who could forget The Catch in overtime vs. Lafayette in 1995?
Let us know what you think! Please send your feedback by Monday, August 20 to sports@lehigh.edu with “Goodman 20” in the subject line. Be sure to include your name and hometown in the e-mail.
