First of three Lehigh football summer camp dates set for Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The two-time defending Patriot League champion Lehigh football team will host the first of three summer camp dates Saturday June 9 on the Goodman Campus. Two session’s Lehigh’s Championship Football Camp will be held, one on June 9 and the other on June 16, while Lehigh’s 7-on-7 team camp and O-Line/D-Line camp will take place on July 14.
 
The Championship Football Camp is open to players of all positions in grades 9-12. Campers will be instructed by head coach Andy Coen and members of the Mountain Hawks’ coaching staff. Campers will receive position specific coaching on technique and drill work from one of the top staffs in the football championship subdivision.
 
Lehigh captured its tenth Patriot League football championship and its eighth Lambert Cup in 2011 as the Mountain Hawks advanced to the NCAA FCS quarterfinals for the first time since 2001.
 
All three camp dates will begin with 8 a.m. registration and will conclude by 4 p.m.
 
The 12th annual 7-on-7 high school shoot-out will take place on July 14 and is open to high school teams only. That same day, Lehigh will hold its O-Line/D-Line camp which is open to players of high school age.
