Posted: 08/20/2012
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The kickoff of the 2012 Lehigh football season is less than two weeks away as the Mountain Hawks chase their third straight Patriot League title. To help get ready for the season, which kicks off September 1 when Lehigh hosts Monmouth at Goodman Stadium, senior All-America wide receiver Ryan Spadola visited the ESPN Radio studios in Easton, Pa. to lend his voice to a radio commercial promoting the opening day game – and Lehighsports.com was there to chronicle the visit.

Arriving at WEEX
Spadola and the Mountain Hawks will host Monmouth, Spadola’s hometown team, in the first of six home games at picturesque Goodman Stadium. Lehigh also has home dates with Princeton (Sept. 15), Fordham (Sept. 29), Columbia (Oct. 6), Bucknell (Oct. 20) and Colgate (Nov. 10) on its home slate.

Tickets for the Monmouth game and all Lehigh football home games are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 610-7LU-GAME, but visiting the Lehigh box office, located at Stabler Arena, or online at Lehighsports.com via the link below.

For the ninth straight season, Lehigh football games will air live on ESPN Radio of the Lehigh Valley, located at 1230 (WEEX-AM, Easton) and 1320 (WTKZ-AM, Allentown). ESPN Radio of the Lehigh Valley is the home of Lehigh Athletics, broadcasting Lehigh football and men’s basketball for the last eight years and Lehigh wrestling for more than a decade.
