2013 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Tied for the team lead with 16 appearances, including four starts…got his first collegiate win after pitching 2.2 scoreless innings against Coppin State…threw a season-high 5.2 innings while striking out eight batters and surrendering just four hits against Mount St. Mary’s…recipient of a Patriot League Rookie of the Week Award.
 
2012 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Made 11 appearances, including five starts on the mound…allowed one run on three hits in 3.1 innings of relief in his first collegiate appearance and earned his first collegiate win against Fairleigh Dickinson…allowed one run on two hits over 4.0 innings of work to earn the win against Saint Joseph’s…tossed a season-high 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits against Binghamton…threw 3.0 scoreless innings of relief against Maryland Eastern Shore.

BEFORE LEHIGH:
Smith earned three Varsity Letters while at Nazareth Area High School, as he led his Blue Eagles to a District Championship his senior year by posting a 6-1 record on the mound, with a 3.11 ERA and 45 strikeouts over 47.1 innings of work. The ensuing summer, Smith was named the NORCO American Legion MVP and Scholar Athlete after leading his team to the championship, while going 6-0 with a  0.49 ERA and 56 K’s in 43.0 innings on the mound. While at Nazareth, Smith also excelled in golf where he earned two varsity letters and was a district qualifier his senior year. Smith not only excelled on the diamond, but in the classroom as he was ranked in the top 10 of his graduating class, a member of the National Honor Society, a Scholar Athlete in Golf and a three-time All-State musician.
