National Prep Wrestling Championships at Stabler

On February 22-23, 2013, Lehigh University will be hosting the 79th National Prep Wrestling Championships inside Stabler Arena on Goodman Campus. Lehigh has had the privilege of hosting all 78 past events with this year’s 79th tournament starting at 8:30am on Friday. The tournament concludes on Saturday afternoon, with the Finals and place-winner matches beginning at 12:30pm.
National Preps is a nation-wide wrestling tournament that draws high school varsity wrestlers to Bethlehem from across the country. Each wrestler participates in a qualifying event within their region and become eligible to compete in this National Prep event by placing in those qualifying events. Past participants have gone on to wrestle at the college level, competing at numerous high-ranking institutions including Lehigh, Cornell, Maryland, Stanford, Penn State and others.
