National Prep Race on Goodman Campus
Posted: 04/17/2012
The first ever Mud Run in the Lehigh Valley will be held on Saturday, April 28, at Lehigh University. The “Steel Fitness” National Prep Race will be a 2 mile mud race through the famous cross country course on Lehigh’s Goodman Campus. The course will feature a 6 foot high wall, 50 old tires (Tires of Destruction), a set of mud soaked tubes (Treacherous Tubes), a set of balance beams (Brutal Balance Beams) in which onlookers try to knock off runners with water balloons, and finally a giant mud slide just before the finish line.
If you are planning on Tough Mudder or Spartan Race, this is a great prep race for some of the tougher, more challenging mud races.
You can also run for a cause and use National Prep Race to raise funds for your favorite charity! You’ll be able to join a team and have friends and relatives donate to your cause. We will also be giving a portion of all proceeds to “The Race for Adam”.
Fun and prizes include:
· Post-race party at Starters Riverport where all competitors will get 15% off their bill!
· Every competitor will get 1 free week membership at Steel Fitness
· Gift certificates will be awarded to select winners
· T-shirts, video and pictures all available
