Lehigh wins doubles point but falls 6-1 to Navy
The Lehigh women’s tennis team won the doubles point from a tough Navy squad but the visiting Midshipmen dominated singles play to rally for a 6-1 win over the Mountain Hawks Sunday on the Ulrich Varsity Courts. The Mountain Hawks posted two doubles wins, but Navy swept through six singles matches, winning all six in straight sets.

Lehigh splits pair of one-run games Sunday versus Army
Lehigh and Army wrapped-up their four-game series with a pair of one-run games Sunday afternoon at Kaufman Field. The Mountain Hawks won the series but had to settle for a Sunday split as Lehigh took the opener 3-2 but let a 4-2 lead get away in the seventh inning of the nightcap as the Black Knights rallied for a 5-4 win.

Lehigh runs past Howard on Senior Day, 18-6
The Mountain Hawks got off to an 8-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game and wouldn’t look back as the Lehigh women’s lacrosse team cruised to an 18-6 win over Howard on Sunday. It was Senior Day as a trio of seniors was recognized prior to their final home game in the Brown & White. Twelve different Mountain Hawks scored a goal in an exceptional all-around effort.

Mountain Hawks split pair of one-run games against Bucknell
The Lehigh baseball team picked up another split in a pair of one run games with a 4-3 win and a tough 7-6 loss in 10 innings versus Patriot League foe Bucknell on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks raised their overall record to 18-17 and Patriot League mark to 5-5, while the Bison are now 10-23 with an identical record in league action.

Lehigh downs Navy 5-2 to complete undefeated home season
The Lehigh men’s tennis team completed a perfect season on its home courts with a 5-2 win over defending Patriot League champion Navy Saturday on the Ulrich Varsity Courts. The Mountain Hawks lost a tightly-contested doubles point but battled back to win five of six singles matches as Lehigh defeated Navy in Bethlehem for the third straight time.

Troyan nabs 600th win as Lehigh sweeps Army Saturday
Lehigh head coach Fran Troyan picked up his 600th career victory on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks swept a doubleheader from Army at Kaufman Field. Sophomore Emily Bausher delivered a pinch-hit, game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh as Lehigh took game one 6-5; and then fired a four-hit shutout in the pitcher’s circle to lead the Mountain Hawks to a 2-0 win in the nightcap.

#18/19 Lehigh tops #9/11 Bucknell 11-7 for PL Regular Season Title
The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team clinched its first Patriot League regular season championship as the #18/19 Mountain Hawks downed #9/11 Bucknell 11-7 Friday night at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. With the win, Lehigh’s first in Lewisburg since 1998, the Mountain Hawks will host the Patriot League Tournament for the first time in school history Apr. 26 and 28.

Mountain Hawks head to Rhode Island for Brown Invitational
Lehigh will play its final event before the inaugural Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship this weekend when the Mountain Hawks head to Barrington, R.I. for the Brown Invitational. The two-day 36 hole event will take place Sunday and Monday at the Rhode Island Country Club.

Mountain Hawks host Howard Sunday on Senior Day
The Lehigh women’s lacrosse team will host Howard in its final home game of the season on Sunday at Ulrich Sports Complex. Lehigh to continue PL play with series versus Bucknell

Lehigh heads to Knecht Cup on Saturday
The Lehigh rowing team looks to continue the momentum from a strong spring so far when it rows in the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River. The Mountain Hawks are coming off their third straight Neuweiler Plate victory last weekend. Lehigh’s Women’s Freshmen Eight and Men’s Varsity Eight highlighted last year’s Knecht Cup, finishing second and third, respectively, in the Petite Finals of a deep regatta.

Mountain Hawks to travel to Moravian and Bucknell competitions
After experiencing a mix of emotions from a heartbreaking defeat and one-sided victory at arch rival Lafayette, the Lehigh women’s and men’s track and field teams will split between the Pollard Invite and Bison Outdoor Classic. The Pollard Invite kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday at Moravian while the Bison Outdoor Classic gets underway at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bucknell.

Lehigh to host bone marrow testing drive on Wednesday April 17
For the fifth consecutive year, the Lehigh football program will host a bone marrow testing drive on Wednesday, April 17, inside Lamberton Hall from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Lehigh is one of 35 college football programs from around the nation participating in the event this year, which is spearheaded by Villanova head coach Andy Talley. The event is free of charge and targets potential donors from ages 18 to 44.

Julie McBrien: Making her mark
Every team needs a leader and senior women’s lacrosse captain Julie McBrien has more than delivered on carrying that responsibility, both on and off the lacrosse field. This year’s team features a majority of underclassmen, including nine freshmen and eight sophomores, all of whom are lucky enough to have McBrien to look up to in the game and in the classroom.

#18/19 Lehigh heads to #9/11 Bucknell for first-place clash
Coming off its first three-game winning streak of the season, the #18/19 Lehigh men’s lacrosse team heads to Bucknell for a first-place showdown with the #9/11 Bison. Opening faceoff on Friday night is set for 7:30 p.m. The winner will clinch the Patriot League Regular Season Title and the right to host the entire league tournament later this month. Both sides enter with 4-0 league records while Colgate and Army have two losses apiece.
