Mountain Hawks earn No. 2 seed for this weekend's PL Tournament
The Patriot League announced the seeds and schedules for the upcoming league tournament Tuesday evening and for the third consecutive year Lehigh earned the No. 2 seed. The Mountain Hawks will face No. 7 seed Holy Cross in the opening round for the third straight year with the match set for approximately 2 p.m. Friday from Colgate’s Abrahamson Courts in Hamilton, N.Y.

Bilimoria, Bruch earn singles wins as Lehigh falls to Bucknell
In its final Patriot League match of the regular season, the Lehigh women’s tennis team fell to Bucknell by a 5-2 score Tuesday afternoon on the Ulrich Varsity Courts. Junior Jenai Bilimoria and sophomore Emily Bruch posted singles wins for the Mountain Hawks, who fall to 5-14 overall and 2-4 in the Patriot League.

Lehigh to host Penn to conclude six-game home stand

Lehigh heads to Princeton to face former standout Sweeney's Tigers
Lehigh heads to New Jersey for its final non-league road games of the regular season as the Mountain Hawks will battle Princeton Wednesday in a doubleheader at Class of 1895 Field. The Tigers are led by a familiar face in former Lehigh standout Lisa Sweeney ’09, a four-time Patriot League Pitcher of the Year who is in her first season as Princeton’s head coach.

Lehigh edged at Bucknell 4-3 Monday in final regular season match
In a match that came down to a third set at No. 5 singles, Bucknell upset Lehigh 4-3 Monday in the Mountain Hawks’ regular season finale on the Bucknell Varsity Tennis Courts. Kyle Rosen beat senior Andrew Krentz 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the decisive match as the Bison swept the doubles matches and took the three singles matches needed to hand Lehigh just its second Patriot League loss.

Mountain Hawks finish up play in Rhode Island
The Lehigh women’s golf team shot a final round 334 as the Mountain Hawks finished in 12th place at the Brown Bear Invitational, which concluded Monday at Rhode Island Country Club. The Mountain Hawks finished at 327-334-661 in their final tune-up before this weekend’s inaugural Patriot League Championship in Lewisburg, Pa.

Lemon takes home weekly Patriot League honor to bump up records
Senior E’Lana Lemon captured the Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week award for the 14th time in her illustrious career at Lehigh. This is the sixth time during the 2012-13 season she has earned the honor, breaking the single season mark set by Bucknell’s Marjorie Grap during the 2006-07 season.

Decker named Patriot League Player of the Week
Lehigh freshman third baseman Morgan Decker was named Patriot League Player of the Week, it was announced Monday. Decker enjoyed another impressive week at the plate for the Mountain Hawks, who went 5-1 last week, sweeping a midweek doubleheader at Fordham before returning home to win three of four games against Patriot League rival Army.

Poillon garners second straight Goalie of the Week honor
Lehigh men’s lacrosse sophomore Matt Poillon has been named the Patriot League Goalie of the Week for a second consecutive week and for the fourth time this season following the Mountain Hawks’ 11-7 win over Bucknell on Friday. Poillon posted 12 saves while allowing just seven goals in the win that clinched Lehigh the #1 seed and right to host the Patriot League Tournament.

Lehigh registers six regional qualifiers at Moravian and Bucknell meets
Fresh off their dual meet at rival Lafayette last weekend, the Lehigh men’s track and field team headed to Moravian and Bucknell for the Pollard Invite and Bison Outdoor Classic this weekend. A meet record fell at the Pollard Invite, a new school record was set at Bucknell and six athletes qualified for the IC4A Championships after both meets had concluded.

Lehigh rowing completes successful weekend at Knecht Cup
Four Lehigh crews advanced to the finals, including a silver medal for the Men’s Club Four as the Mountain Hawks wrapped up a successful weekend at the Knecht Cup. In addition, the Men’s Freshmen Eight and Varsity Four advanced to the grand final while the Women’s Freshmen Eight qualified for the petite final.

Freshman Feierberg leads Lehigh on day one of Brown Bear Invite
Freshman Nicole Feierberg shot seven over par 79 to lead the Lehigh women’s golf team in round one of the Brown Bear Invitational Sunday at Rhode Island Country Club. Feierberg carded a 39 on the front nine and a 40 on the back nine to tie for 18th place as Lehigh shot 327 as a team to sit in 11th place in the 14-team field after day one of the 36-hole event.

Lehigh drops pair of league games against Bucknell
The Lehigh baseball team suffered its first doubleheader sweep of the season after falling to Bucknell by scores of 7-2 and 8-1 Sunday at the Goodman Campus. Lehigh drops to fifth in the Patriot League standings, while Bucknell is tied for second with a mark of 7-5. The Bison improved to 12-23 overall and the Mountain Hawks fell to 18-19.

Lehigh wins doubles point but falls 6-1 to Navy
The Lehigh women’s tennis team won the doubles point from a tough Navy squad but the visiting Midshipmen dominated singles play to rally for a 6-1 win over the Mountain Hawks Sunday on the Ulrich Varsity Courts. The Mountain Hawks posted two doubles wins, but Navy swept through six singles matches, winning all six in straight sets.

Lehigh splits pair of one-run games Sunday versus Army
Lehigh and Army wrapped-up their four-game series with a pair of one-run games Sunday afternoon at Kaufman Field. The Mountain Hawks won the series but had to settle for a Sunday split as Lehigh took the opener 3-2 but let a 4-2 lead get away in the seventh inning of the nightcap as the Black Knights rallied for a 5-4 win.

Lehigh runs past Howard on Senior Day, 18-6
The Mountain Hawks got off to an 8-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game and wouldn’t look back as the Lehigh women’s lacrosse team cruised to an 18-6 win over Howard on Sunday. It was Senior Day as a trio of seniors was recognized prior to their final home game in the Brown & White. Twelve different Mountain Hawks scored a goal in an exceptional all-around effort.

Mountain Hawks split pair of one-run games against Bucknell
The Lehigh baseball team picked up another split in a pair of one run games with a 4-3 win and a tough 7-6 loss in 10 innings versus Patriot League foe Bucknell on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks raised their overall record to 18-17 and Patriot League mark to 5-5, while the Bison are now 10-23 with an identical record in league action.
