KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Lehigh closed out its 2007 spring season this past weekend as the Mountain Hawks took part in the Kutztown Spring Invitational and finished second out of the seven teams in attendance with a two-round score of 674.  Kelly Fitzgerald was the top Lehigh finisher as she shot a 165 (84, 81) to finish third, while Yvonne Kukora tied for fourth place with a two-round score of 166 (84, 82).  St. Francis (Pa.) was the team champion with a score of 668 (339, 329).

Other Mountain Hawks that placed were Jen Nagel who tied for ninth (84, 87 – 171), Kassia Nelson who placed 14th (89, 85 – 174) and Caroline Boyer who tied for 16th place (87, 89 – 176).  Tiina Olsson (96, 91 – 187), Taylor Sauer (99, 93 – 192) and Ashley Debarba (97, 103 – 200) also competed over the weekend for the Brown and White.  Samantha Milosh of St. Francis (Pa.) was the individual champion as she shot a 160 (84, 76) and her teammate Megan Schaeffer took second place with a score of 161 (83, 78).

Following St. Francis (Pa.) and Lehigh in the team standings were Allegheny College (350, 340 – 690), Kutztown (346, 346 – 692), Muhlenberg (374, 392 – 766), West Chester (412, 408 – 820) and McDaniel College (DNF, 416).
