Mountain Hawks finish fifth at Columbia Invite

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Lehigh finished fifth in the Columbia Invitational this past weekend, hosted by Columbia University at the Hampshire Country Club, as the Mountain Hawks shot a two-round score of 702, led by Allison Juster’s two-day score of 168 (86, 82), which placed her in a tie for 15th place. Freshman Jen Nagel shot a 169 (81, 88) as she tied for 18th place. Harvard won the team title with a score of 641 (317, 324), followed by Yale (649), Columbia (650), and St. John’s (651).
Other Mountain Hawks that competed were Yvonne Kukora, who shot a 179 (86, 93), to finish in a tie for 37th place, Allison Webb with a 189 (91, 98 – 47th), and Kelly Fitzgerald, who finished with a 192 (97, 95) to place in a tie for 52nd place. Brittany Lambertson of St. John’s won the title with a score of 149 (73, 76).
Lehigh returns to action on April 10 when the Mountain Hawks head to Collegeville, Pennsylvania to compete in the Ursinus College Invitational. Tee time is scheduled for 1:00.
