Lehigh opens spring season at Georgetown Invite

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Lehigh opened its spring season this past weekend at the Hoya Invitational, hosted by Georgetown University at the Raspberry Falls Golf Club in Virginia. Senior Yvonne Kukora led the Brown and White with a two-round score of 158 (74, 84), as she finished in a tie for 18th place. The Mountain Hawks shot a 669 (319, 350) as a team to finish in 11th place, while Princeton won the event with a score of 604 (300, 304).
Other Mountain Hawk finishers were Allison Juster with a 169 – T11th (82, 87), Jen Nagel (172 – T-55th), Kelly Fitzgerald (173 – T-58th), and Allison Webb (174 – T-61st). Princeton’s Susannah Aboff won the event with a score of 150 (77, 73), while Yale’s Cindy Shin and Columbia’s Sara Ovadia both shot a 151 to finish in a tie for second place.
The top five teams in terms of lowest score were Princeton, Yale, Nova Southeastern University, Georgetown and Columbia.
Lehigh returns to action on April 6 when the Mountain Hawks travel to New York to compete in the Columbia Invitational.
