Lehigh finishes up competition in California

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Lehigh University's men’s and women’s varsity eight boats completed the San Diego Crew Classic Sunday. With a second-place finish in the heats for the men and a fourth-place finish for the women both boats advance to Sunday racing.
On Sunday the men raced to a fifth place in the grand final of the Men's Cal Cup on Mission Bay. One second out of third and five second behind first place Orange Coast College. The women placed sixth in the petite final finishing in 7minutes 9.97 seconds.
Lehigh's men’s boat was made up of coxswain –Dave Highhill, Stroke seat-Matt Galuska, 7-Phil Bresnahan, 6-Mark Chandler, 5-Chris Hause, 4-Sam Anderson, 3-Andrew Younghein, 2-Todd Mickleson and bow-Jon Winter.
Lehigh’s women’s boat was made up of coxswain –Kristina Nied, Stroke seat-Denise Julian, 7-Jackie Cross, 6-Diana Philipovia, 5-Christine Porcaro, 4-Becca Guzman, 3-Sara Brams-Miller, 2-Li-Ping Chew, and bow-Pam Lee

Lehigh will return to action on Saturday, April 8 when the Mountain Hawks take part in the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey.
