Borowsky and Mountain Hawks win L.V. Collegiate

Allentown, PA – Lehigh notched a 397 win the annual Lehigh Valley Collegiate hosted by Muhlenberg College at Lehigh Country Club. Lehigh’s mark of 397 was seven strokes better than Moravian College. The Greyhounds finished second with a 404. Individually, Lehigh sophomore Alan Borowsky shot a 76 under breezy conditions to capture medalist honors.
Lehigh captain Nam Park and senior John Jaravata each tied for second overall with a 77. Sophomore Ross Feldman shot an 83 and senior Patrick McCahill rounded out the scoring with an 84. Kevin Dolph shot an 85 and Jason Moloney an 88 for the Mountain Hawks, but their totals were not counted towards the team score.
Lehigh returns to the links on Saturday, as the Mountain Hawks head to Bucknell for the 2005 Patriot League championship. The tournament will consist of 56 holes played over two days at the Bucknell Golf Club.
