Lehigh finishes strong, comes in fifth at Hartford Invite

West Hartford, CT – Lehigh shot a 706 at the two-day Hartford Women’s Invitational to finish in fifth place on Tuesday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks finished behind St. John’s, the University of Hartford, Siena and Long Island University, with Caitlin Munroe of Hofstra winning the overall crown with a two-day total of 164. Lehigh’s top finisher was freshman Alison Webb, who shot an 81 on Monday and followed that up with an 86 on Tuesday, good for a two-day total of 167 and a tie for fourth place.
Lehigh’s other finishers were Yvonne Kukora, who tied for fourth place with a two-day total of 168 (88, 80), Paige Cullen, who tied for 34th place with rounds of 91 and 92 (183) and Allison Juster, who came in a tie for 45th place after posting a round of 92 on Monday and 99 on Tuesday, good for a total of 191.
Shauna Wilde of LIU took second place for the event with a two-day total of 165, while Jillian Blanchard of Siena was third with a 166, followed by Webb and Jennifer Rhee of St. John’s both coming in with a 167.
Lehigh returns to action on April 15 when the Mountain Hawks travel to Kutztown, PA to compete in the Kutztown Invitational. That match is scheduled to begin at .
