Lehigh finishes second at annual LV Collegiate

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh shot a 411 as a team to finish second overall in the four team Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invite, hosted by Moravian at the Weyhill Course of Saucon Valley Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks finished five strokes behind Lafayette, who captured first place with a 406.
Individually, the Mountain Hawks were led by the play of freshman Will Weihenmayer, whose round of 75 placed him just one stroke back of front-runner Brian Bergstol (74) of Moravian, who won the event. Other Lehigh finishers included Jason Moloney (81) Nam Park (82), and Patrick McCahill (86).
Moravian finished one stroke behind the Mountain Hawks with a team score of 412, and Muhlenberg rounded out the scoring with a 416.
Lehigh wraps up spring play this weekend, when the Mountain Hawks hit the links at the Patriot League tournament, hosted by Colgate at Seven Oaks Country Club in upstate New York.
