Rosenhouse ties for third to lead Lehigh at Quaker Invitational

PINE HILL, N.J. – The Lehigh men’s golf team opened its spring season Monday by finishing fifth out of 15 teams at the Quaker Invitational Monday at the Trump National Philadelphia Course. Senior Tim Rosenhouse led the way for the Mountain Hawks in the 36-hole event shooting 152 (74-78) to tie for third place, five strokes behind medalist Austin Powell of Penn.
 
As a team Lehigh shot 638 (320-318) on the day. IUPUI scored 613 (315-298) to edge the host Penn Quakers by one stroke and capture the team title. Princeton and Iona tied for third, 20 strokes behind the Quakers, while the Mountain Hawks finished four shots behind the Tigers and Gaels and 25 behind the champion Jaguars.
 
Freshman Carlos Kim joined Rosenhouse in the top 20, tying for 16th place at 158 (75-83).
