Lehigh braves tough conditions to defeat Penn

READING, Pa. – Despite battling very tough winds, and near impossible conditions, Lehigh defeated Penn 339 to 342 on Saturday afternoon at Heidelberg Country Club. Jen Nagel posted Lehigh’s lowest score of the day with an 83, while Livia Amado (84) and Erika Kretchmann (85) were close behind. Penn’s Lisette Vitter shot the lowest total with a one-round score of 80.
Also competing for the Mountain Hawks on Saturday were Emily Endres with an 87, Ana Nam with an 89 and Taylor Orr with a 92. The lowest four scores counted towards the team total.
Lehigh closes out its 2009 spring season on April 17 when the Mountain Hawks travel to Suffern, New York to compete in the Columbia Invitational.
