Lockers Policies/User Responsibilities

Policies

  • The privilege of using a locker in Taylor Gymnasium is made available to current Lehigh University ID card holders.
  • Locker registrations are conducted at the Fitness Center office during normal business hours (M-F 10am-4pm) for all valid LU ID card holders. 
  • Lockers are not issued from May 30th through June 30th due to required annual maintenance. 
  • Lockers will be issued on an academic (nine month) term for all Undergraduate Students from September to May and yearly (12 month) term for Faculty/Staff/Graduate Students/Spouse ID Cards and All Other starting July 1st and ending June 30th.
  • All lockers must be vacated or renewed by the specific deadline date each year (irrespective of the date the locker was issued) depending on defined status and requirement as follows:

  • Lockers must be vacated annually so that proper cleaning and control of combinations may be accomplished.
  • Items left in the locker after the deadline date will be removed and disposed of by the Athletics Department.
  • The locker holder waives any claims to any items remaining in the locker after the deadline date.
  • The use of personal locks is prohibited, locks will be cut off and all items will be removed and discarded.
  • All lockers are the property of Lehigh University.
  • The locker is to be used to store appropriate athletic and personal items.
  • Any misuse, damage or failure to vacate the locker by the specific deadline date constitutes a violation of this privilege.
  • Violations may result in the loss of locker or facility privileges and/or submission of such actions for billing or University discipline procedures.
  • Locker combinations should be kept in a safe place.
  • Careless handling of combinations may result in the theft of one's personal items.
  • Lehigh University is not responsible for any lost, stolen or missing items at any time.
  • Any locker problems or required assistance should be reported to the Fitness Center office.

Locker Room Locations

  • Users of day lockers are required to bring their own lock for use
  • All locks used on day lockers must be removed by the end of the business day.
