Lehigh Video and Audio Broadcasts On-Line An industry leader in video webcasting, the Lehigh Athletics department has announced that it has once again teamed with Yahoo! Sports (sports.yahoo.com) to deliver real-time audio and video broadcasts throughout the 2007-08 school year. By logging on to Lehighsports.com and selecting one of two subscription options, fans can access live audio and video broadcasts of Lehigh games in a number of sports. All users will be required to subscribe to one of the Yahoo! packages (via the link above or below) in order to access Lehigh’s broadcasts.
The Yahoo! Sports audio and video offerings are available for both broadband and dial-up users, and enable fans to listen to the official Lehigh radio broadcast or watch the live television broadcast of select events. As a result, alumni that live thousands of miles from Bethlehem can follow every game as if they were back on campus and listening to their hometown announcers. This year, Yahoo! Sports will be providing fans with higher-quality audio streaming, and more content from participating schools. Once again in 2007-08, Lehigh fans will be able to watch streaming video of more events than ever before – at no additional cost.
Over the upcoming school year, Lehigh will broadcast over 200 events on the Athletics Web site, including every football and basketball game, every wrestling dual meet, and a number of contests for men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, volleyball, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and men's and women's tennis.
All of the schools that are making audio content available via Yahoo! Sports in 2007-08 – including Lehigh – will offer the following subscription packages:
1. School Pass Subscription – For $4.95 per month, users have access to all streamed sports broadcasts for Lehigh Athletics, including both audio and video.
2. College Pack Subscription – Each school has been integrated into and offered as part of the College Pack subscription for $9.95/month. This package allows users to access all college broadcasts for ALL Yahoo! partnered schools.
For a complete list of schools participating in the Yahoo! Sports College Pack, please visit the Yahoo! Sports web site (sports.yahoo.com).
