Callanetics Plus: Callanetics Plus is a learned set of exercises that involves total body stretching.  It will tone, firm, and elongate your muscles, making your body nice and tight.  It increases flexibility, strength, and endurance.  The breathing and relaxation segment of the class helps you focus, concentrate, and reduce stress.  Participants work at their own level.  Beneficial for those who are beginners or more advanced.
  • Summer Interim Classes:
    • Wednesdays 5:15-6:15pm
    • Location: 4th floor studio, Taylor Gym
    • Class Dates: May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27
    • 9 classes: $30

Yoga Flow for Conditioning: Experience the benefits of yoga through a sequence of dynamic stretching and strengthening postures that will bring you towards a deeper awareness of your physical body. By matching breath to movement, you will begin to find more balance in all aspects of your life. All levels are welcome.

Classical Yoga
: Classical Yoga is a comprehensive practice of coordinating the mind, body, and spirit through stretching, breathing, and meditative practices.  Participants will increase their strength and flexibility as well as be able to improve coordination, concentration, metabolism, and their overall ability to deal with stress.  The class is progressive and includes handouts.  Please bring a mat and towel or blanket of natural material.  No prior experience is necessary.  Modifications will be introduced to increase difficulty for more experienced practitioners.

Pilates Mat: Build long, lean muscle mass while performing exercises that focus on engaging all the major muscle groups: core, glutes, legs, and arms.  Pilates assists with injury prevention and recovery, improving sports performance, establishing good posture and maintaining optimal health.
