The Lehigh men’s soccer team opened the 2010 season with a resounding 3-0 victory over Rutgers at the Ulrich Sports Complex on Wednesday night. Junior Joe Puleo scored the Mountain Hawks’ first two goals and freshman James Meyerkord added a third in his collegiate debut. Lehigh is now unbeaten in its last seven games dating back to last season.
The Lehigh football team opens its 2010 season Saturday night under the lights as the Mountain Hawks travel to Des Moines, Iowa to face the Drake Bulldogs. The Mountain Hawks were picked to finish third in the league’s preseason poll and are led by preseason All-American offensive lineman Will Rackley as well as fellow senior captain, linebacker Al Pierce.
